Hi, Dale. I am an interior design student on 3rd year. I am very interested in the way you rendering your work. I think they are awsome. Do you mind I use it as an succefull example in our class? If you don’t mind, could you please provide more information about yourself, like which university you graduate? and you job tile now? I will really appreciate your help.

    • Hi, of course I don’t mind. I graduated from the University of Brighton with a BA(hons) degree in Interior Architecture and I am now learning lots of practical skills working for an intimate interior architecture and design practice called Limehouse Design Partnership. The concept of this project was based on the ideas of the fashion industry, deconstruction, and designing a space that reflected this industry, so looking at certain materials and adapting them to mimic folds, weaves etc… Also, due to the site being these heavy arches I looked at a lot of ideas to do with tension and compression, which is where the ideas for the suspended catwalk and cantilevered mez levels came into play. Its all very conceptual, hope this helps a little.

Hello Dale, how long was you working on this project?

Only I have seven weeks to complete my final major project and am looking to investigate the textile industry and how it shaped it’s area (London).

    I think it’s a very short period of time…

I am also studying Interior Architecture and Design.

    P.s Love the work!

    • Hi, thanks very much!

I worked on that project for two terms during my final year at uni, so longer than seven weeks I’m afraid. However you can get a lot of research done in that time you just probably won’t have as long to develop a scheme.

      Hope that helps!
